Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association are excited to be in a position to offer the Scottish FA's Extra Time programme to families at Castlehill Primary School. This after-school initiative is designed to support children who might benefit from extra support or activities outside of …moreschool, and aims to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for children to engage in sports and activities. The programme will run every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:15pm to 5:00pm during term time, and will include football, healthy snacks, and their may be the opportunity to join in holiday camps. Our 2022 Mini Kickers sessions are designed to introduce young children to football in a fun, safe and engaging environment. At this early stage, the focus is on developing basic movement skills such as running, balance and coordination, alongside simple football skills like dribbling, stopping the …moreball and striking it. Through games and small activities, children begin to build confidence, learn to listen, take turns and work alongside others. These sessions are all about enjoyment, helping children develop a love for being active while also supporting their social skills and independence.
